UITVERKOCHT / SOLD OUT!

On Friday November 18th the Peter de Grote Festival and the Prince Claus Conservatoire are organizing a concert in remembrance of Rian de Waal. The concert will take place in the Martinikerk in Groningen and starts at 20.15 hrs.

The program will be:

Kara Karayev – 3 miniatures
Samuel Barber – Adagio for strings
Chris Fictoor – “Weerklank”, hymne for Rian de Waal
Edward Elgar - Give unto the Lord – (Psalm 29 opus 74) for choir and organ
Georg Friedrich Handel - Ombra mai fu (Thy blossoms fair)
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Divertimento in F
Edgar Elgar - Serenade for strings

This program will be performed by a string orchestra and choir consisting of students of the Prince Claus Conservatoire and by mezzo soprano Ruth Willemse (prize winner of the Peter de Grote Festival).
